Spillways present along the coast of the municipality of Falconara Marittima.

During rainy events, the overflows pour the urban wastewater into the bathing waters, with activation of the OSG (Management Union Ordinance) which allows for the preventive closure of bathing in the event of activation of the overflow, and subsequently, following deactivation of the overflow and the analyzes of water control by ARPAM with a compliant result, they are reopened for bathing use; this is the first method of health protection with management actions.
